solvent base

PPB-S SERIES (PP printing ink)

Characteristics:

1) Good adhesion to most of PP materials; using with hardener and treatment agent can also achieve a good adhesion.

2) From high gloss to semiflat.

Application Industries:

Plastic, packaging, and decoration.

Applicable Materials:

Hard PP and part of hard PE.

Physical Features:

Sieving capability: 60T-120T

Tack-free time: natural volatilization 8-15 mins

Hard drying time: natural volatilization 8-12 hrs

Thinner: S-16, S-4, S-3

Cleaner: S-186

Applications:

1) Make sure you chose a suitable ink before use. Open the packaging to check whether or not precipitation, hard-setting, gelation, and color distortion arose. Stir well before use.

2) Apply PPB specific thinner (S-4 PP Slow curing solution, S-16 PP Medium curing solution, S-3 783 Extremely slow curing solution) to achieve a printable viscosity.

3) Apply pre-test before actual printing. Check the performance after air dry 12 hours.

4) Select our XB2-515 Hardener when using with hardeners. Add 10-15% (W/W), mix well. The mixed ink must be used up within 4-6 hours. End of life product will reduce adhesion drastically.

5) Before printing, apply PP or PE treatment agent to pretreatment the surface of some materials which have insufficient adhesions.

Notice:

1) Gold and silver power must be prepared according to need. Long time storage may cause products oxidized and color distortion, as well as bulge and gelling. If prepared with other colors, color separation may also occur after long period storage.

2) Do not add any other unnecessary additives.M

3) Do not make ink layer directly contact with product containing plasticizer, such as soft PVC packaging.M

4) Seal tightly immediately after use, to avoid its drying up or deterioration.M

5) The quality of transfer printing is poor, so do not use this series for transfer printing.M

Hazardous Substance:

Class 3 Flammable Liquid.

Safety Protections:

1) In case of contact with your skin and eyes, please wear gloves and safety glasses. If ink splashed onto your skin, or into your eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water, or seek medical advice.

2) Store in a full sealed container in cool dry places away from sources of ignition heat or direct sunlight.

3) We highly recommend any process or formulation should be based on MSDS.
